The Smiles Foundation - our latest project in the Oradea area of Western Romania.

FSC regularly go to the village to involve the children in activities that they would not normally have access to. Usually held on a Saturday, it gives the children an insight into how other people care about them and how volunteers participate in social care. Volunteering in Romania had a more sinister meaning in the communist days and so it is important for evryone to see that the new volunteering idea is a world apart from the old days. |
